When to add bonus points in UEFA Country Ranking - what would you prefer?

Hello,
I'd like to ask you, what do you prefer:
- adding bonus points (for example for reaching Round of 16 in Champions League) immediately after given club's qualification into the next round (despite Group Stage didn't end yet)
- adding bonus points after end of Group Stage
FS currently uses second option due opportunity to know, which country is most successful so far.
(please note, only registered members can vote)

I chose option 2.
The reason is, I want to treat all the clubs in the same way. When you add the points immediately, you can't compare the actual situation in a clear way. Why should some clubs have 5 more points earlier? I think they [points] should belong to Round of 16, so should be added just after the Group Stage or just before the Round of 16.
When the Group Stage is over, you can sum everything up and add the points. Then the comparison is reliable.
The same thing with points collected in qualifying rounds. As you know, clubs can get from 0,25 to 1,5 points for being eliminated in specific qualifying round in CL or EL, which is not cumulative. That's why I prefer to add these points after the team is eliminated in specific round rather than add these points before or during this round. If they were cumulative, I would add them immediately, but in this case I wouldn't do so.
